Contest rules.
1. Sponsor
These contests are sponsored by Salient Media LLC dba Suhoor Festival, 2100 Pleasant Hill Rd, Duluth, GA 30096 ("Sponsor"), and are not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Apple Inc. or Google LLC. Direct all questions to the Sponsor at info@suhoorfestival.com, not Apple or Google.
2. Eligibility
Open to legal U.S. residents aged 18 or older at the time of entry, except residents of Colorado, Maryland, Nebraska, North Dakota, and Vermont, who are not eligible. Employees and the immediate family or household members of the Sponsor and its affiliates are ineligible. Void where prohibited.
3. Entry Period
Each contest runs for the dates shown on its page in the Suhoor Festival app. Entries or activity outside that window do not count.
4. The Contests — How to Enter & How Winners Are Chosen
There are five contests. Every winner is determined by skill, merit, or measured activity — there is no random drawing or raffle in any contest. The video and voting contests are free to enter. The customer-points and passport contests reflect your in-app activity at the festival, which may include purchases, so they are not "no purchase" contests; standing is earned through that activity. The vendor leaderboard is a business (B2B) contest for participating vendors. The Sponsor's determinations are final.
4.1 Video Contest (free to enter)
- How to enter: create an original video promoting the festival — it may be filmed anytime and anywhere (it does not have to be recorded at the festival). Post it publicly to Instagram or TikTok, include all three required hashtags — #suhoorfestival #atlsuhoorfestival #atlworldfestival — and tag 3 people, then submit it in the app. No purchase necessary to enter or win.
- How the winner is chosen: the entry with the highest engagement score on its social post, tallied manually as 1 point per view + 3 per like + 5 per comment + 7 per share. The Sponsor may disqualify entries with fraudulent or automated (bot) engagement. Engagement is counted starting 5 days after the festival ends (for example, World Festival ends September 6, 2026, so counting begins September 11, 2026); winners are determined approximately 3 days after counting begins.
- Tiebreak: the earliest submitted entry wins.
4.2 Voting Contest (free to enter)
- How to enter: cast votes in the app. No purchase necessary to enter or win.
- How the winner is chosen: the entry with the most in-app votes at close.
- Tiebreak: the entry that reached the winning vote count earliest.
4.3 Customer Points
- How it works: earn points through your in-app activity at the festival. This activity may include purchases, so this is not a "no purchase" contest. It is a skill/activity ranking — not a random draw and not a raffle of entries.
- How the winner is chosen: the participant with the most points wins.
- Tiebreak: the participant who reached the winning point total earliest.
4.4 Passport
- How it works: collect stamps through your in-app activity at the festival. This activity may include purchases, so this is not a "no purchase" contest.
- How the winner is chosen: the participant with the most stamps wins.
- Tiebreak: deterministic — the participant who reached that stamp count earliest. There is no random draw.
4.5 Vendor Leaderboard (business / B2B)
- Who it is for: participating vendors only; this is a business contest, not a consumer prize.
- How the winner is chosen: the top vendor by sales metric during the festival.
- Reward: a booth-upgrade business credit toward a future festival.
- Tiebreak: the vendor who reached the leading sales figure earliest.
5. Prizes
Each contest awards one or more non-cash prizes, each valued under $600. Prizes may include items such as electronics, gadgets, digital subscriptions, and retailer gift cards, as well as festival perks such as VIP passes, free entry, and ticket bundles. The specific prize for each contest is shown on its page in the app. There are no cash prizes and no cash alternative; prizes are non-transferable; and the Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. The vendor-leaderboard reward is a booth-upgrade business credit (a business benefit, not a consumer prize). Per-contest tiebreaks are stated in Section 4.
6. Notification
Winners are notified in-app and/or via their account contact within 14 days of determination. Unclaimed or ineligible prizes may be forfeited and re-awarded to the next-ranked eligible entrant.
7. Taxes
Prize taxes are the winner's responsibility. Given the prizes' low value, the Sponsor does not anticipate IRS reporting; it may request a Form W-9 before awarding any prize that meets the applicable threshold.
8. Publicity
Except where prohibited, accepting a prize permits the Sponsor to use the winner's name, app handle, and submission for promotion without further compensation.
9. Conduct
The Sponsor may disqualify entrants who violate these rules, the Terms of Service/EULA, or who tamper with entry, voting, points, or engagement (including fraudulent or automated activity).
10. General
The Sponsor may modify, suspend, or cancel a contest for fraud, technical failure, or causes beyond its control.
11. Platform Disclaimer
These contests are not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Apple Inc. or Google LLC, and neither is responsible for any aspect of any contest.
12. Privacy
Entrant information is handled per the Privacy Policy.
13. Governing Law
These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA.
